Unicore technology, featured in Millet Trilogy rope range, involves bonding the core and sheath without altering the rope’s suppleness. With a conventional rope, if the sheath is cut by abrasion on an arête – a frequent occurrence in the mountains – it slips and bunches over several meters. With Unicore technology, if the sheath is cut or torn, it remains integral with the core and doesn’t budge – so the user can continue to climb safely.
